Description
The tendon socks protect the horse's legs from chafing boots, bacteria, fungi and dirt and provide additional support for the tendons. They can also be used to cool an area that cannot be reached with ice boots, such as the knee or other higher areas. They are ideal for horses that are sensitive at the coronary band or fetlock joints when wearing overreach boots, because the sock feels like a second skin and does not interfere. Very easy to handle, as you only need to cut the roll to the desired length and pull the sock over the hoof. We recommend attaching the sock at the top of the boots and at the hoof with our Tesa tape to ensure it stays in place. The tendon socks are reusable as they are washable at 30° C (no tumble dryer).
